Improvement Plan 26/27

Our improvement plan aim for the year ahead is:

Through the development and implementation of a clear, ambitious, and progressive wider curriculum, 95% of children will demonstrate increased creativity, independence, problem solving and learner agency by June 2027. High-quality interactions, responsive environments and meaningful learning experiences will provide appropriate support and challenge for all learners. 

This means that over session 26/27 we are focussing on expanding our curriculum offer for the children at Rompers. Staff are working in four groups with four differing focusses; they will work to lead and develop their area engaging in professional learning and research to implement into practice. 

Creativity and Expressive Arts

• Develop a rich, inspiring and creative curriculum which promotes imagination, curiosity and innovation. 

STEM, Exploration and Discovery

• Provide a curriculum that promotes enquiry, investigation, innovation and problem solving. 

Child Leadership, Learner Agency and Global Citizenship

• Develop children as confident leaders of their learning who actively contribute to their nursery, community and wider world. 

Emotional Wellbeing and Rights

• Further develop nurture, emotional literacy and inclusive approaches with support wellbeing and belonging.
