Planting and Growing

This week Rompers has held a planting and growing week. 

The Baby room painted bird houses, the Toddlers planted sunflowers and the Pre-School room got very busy with our new planting and growing area outside. 

The challenged themselves to think more about why plants grow. They experimented by keeping a plant in darkness, a plant with water and a plant with no water to investigate the living conditions a plant needs to grow well.

This is a great opportunity for children to learn about the outdoor world here at nursery.
