Planting and Growing

“If you want a child’s mind to grow… you must first plant a seed.”

In April, our planting and growing area had a little revamp! With this, Katie and Carly enjoyed sourcing lots of new plants from the garden centres and planted these with the children’s support. A new table has also been added to the growing area, where children are able to explore soil, seeds, bulbs and vegetables to develop their sensory awareness.

Each of the children had the opportunity to plant their own sunflowers and take these home to care for over the summer months. We can’t wait to see how well these have grown!
