Outdoor Learning - Whatever the Weather!

In January, the weather was particularly wet and cold, but this never stopped our outdoor learning at nursery and beyond. We firmly believe that every day brings valuable opportunities to explore, discover and grow, whatever the weather. Rain, wind and even snow did not prevent us from heading outdoors; instead, the children embraced the elements, wrapping up warmly in wetsuits, wellies, hats and gloves, ready for exploration. 

Our preschool children showed great resilience and enthusiasm as they continued to brave the beach, going beyond and deepening their connection with the natural world. Staff also led by example, taking the conditions in their stride and ensuring they were fully prepared in waterproof trousers and wellies. Together, we demonstrated that outdoor learning can thrive in all weathers, building confidence, resilience and a true sense of curiosity.
