Epi Pen and Allergy Awareness

This month we invited Shona Fair from Ninewells hospital to come along to nursery and give training to all the staff on Epi Pen and Allergy Awareness. Due to the variety of allergies we have at Rompers, management felt that it was critical for all staff to receive appropriate training to support the children in our care. This was a great success and staff feel more confident in their practice due to their increase in knowledge. 

All staff at Rompers are now trained in administering Epi Pens to children and are trained appropriately to follow 2/3 step plans for children with allergies.
