Christmas at Rompers

December 31, 2020
This Christmas was a little more special as we were all back together after lockdown.
Staff decorated each of their own rooms with lots of sparkle and Christmas cheer.
Preschool even upgraded their tree and decorations.
Amongst the glitter and paints, preschool children learnt the meaning of Christmas by reading some lovely stories about how Christmas began many years ago.
Babies and toddlers enjoyed singing some Christmas carols and participating in Christmas crafts to decorate their room.
Linda and Julie pulled out all the stops and gave us all a delicious Christmas lunch, although this year we had our Christmas lunch in our own rooms this didn’t stop our Christmas spirts being merry.
We even had a special visitor “Jingletta the elf”
Jingletta brought with her some Christmas gifts and joined us for the lunch and party.  This was a great surprise for all the children, who all tried their best to guess her other identity.
Christmas crafts were made with love for the families of our children.

And as the grinch said
“Christmas doesn’t come from a store, maybe Christmas perhaps means a little bit more”

– Dr. Seuss, How the Grinch Stole Christmas!
