Funding
Rompers successfully met the Quality Standards set by Education Scotland in 1999 and became a partnership provider with Angus Council to offer Pre-School initiative for Ante/Pre School Education for all 3-5 year olds.
In 2020, the Scottish Government increased the free entitlement of funded early learning hours for all 3 and 4 year olds to a total of 1140 hours per year. Rompers successfully meets the standards set out in the Scottish Government national blueprint for early years and is delighted to work in partnership with Angus Council to offer this valuable support for families.
As a partner provider we can offer four different types of sessions through two different models, allowing parents to use the 1140 free entitlement in a way that supports them whilst having the option to pay hourly to top up the free hours if needed. Using your funding at Rompers allows you to tailor your early education and child care to suit your busy day, with longer more flexible hours and holiday cover, this may suit part time and full time working parents.
We feed all local primary schools in Montrose and the surrounding towns and villages and in addition can support transition to primary schools in Aberdeenshire. We have a robust transition procedure in place, making transition between Rompers and school a happy, confident and successful move.
